Tasting in the heart of Château Pavie

Owned by the Perse family since 1998, Château Pavie was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé "A" of Saint-Emilion in 2012.

This unique place is part of history since the fourth century when the Romans planted the first vines of the region.

Offering a diversity of terroirs on nearly 37 hectares in one piece, the vineyard is planted on soils characteristic of Saint-Émilion, which bring depth and complexity to the wine: the limestone plateau, the clay-limestone Pavia coast and the clay-sandy foothill.

Respect for the terroir and the requirement of optimal maturity are the keystone of Château Pavie's quality.

The first Historic Wine Bar in Saint - Emilion in Gironde, was opened in February 1987 and passed on to the Perse family, owner of Château Pavie, in February 2017.
